A video of her Lakme Fashion Week appearance was shared on an Instagram paparazzo account, where some individuals commented on her weight gain and suggested she had forgotten how to walk the runway. Despite this, her dedicated fans stepped up to support and applaud her for her appearance.
Supporting her, one of her fans commented on the video, "Stop body-shaming her, please; she is definitely uncomfortable." Another fan expressed, "Bipasha looks gorgeous in Mumma weight." A different admirer added, "She looks beautiful and glowing." In response to the video, a fan simply stated, "She is so stunning."
The actor also shared the video on her Instagram on Sunday night and wrote, "Love yourself at every stage of your life. Wear your confidence." Commenting on her post, husband and actor Karan Singh Grover wrote, "I do I do love yourself with my breath."
In response to the online critics, Basu expressed in an interview with News18 Showsha that she remains unaffected by the body-shaming and negativity directed at her. She stated, "I would like to tell them to please keep trolling. It’s completely fine because I’m not bothered." Grover, with a hint of humour, added, "As long as they’re watching us, it is okay."

Becoming a mother has brought significant changes to Basu's life. When discussing her new role as a mother, she emphasised that Devi is her top priority in everything she does. Whether her eyes are open or closed, she's always on her mind. She added that every time she steps out, she just wants to rush back home and be with her. Her entire life now revolves around her.
She said Grover is second in line, and Devi takes the top spot as number one. On the other hand, Grover humorously remarked, "I’m a slave who used to have one master. Now I've got two masters, and I’m still a slave. So, nothing much has changed for me."
Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover celebrated the arrival of their daughter, Devi, on November 12 of the previous year, which occurred six years after they tied the knot in marriage.
